SEO or AI ?

Neither, or let me make a case for neither. Traffic is what is "best helpful" for affiliate marketing, not a technique or technology for obtaining it. SEO has been good for long term traffic, but unfortunately the long term trend is now for it to be diminishing in significance, largely because of AI. The way forward is in developing a suite of tools to promote a site and its monetization----social, viral, SEO (WH and BH), offline methods etc. We can't continue to make ourselves dependent on Google is approving for ranking, or depending on our use of AI being able to outwit Google's use of AI.

SEO builds long-term, steady traffic, while AI is more of a tool to speed up content creation and research. Best results come from using AI to power your SEO efforts.
 
AI or SEO is a critical question to answer. You could have better ask AI in SEO. Did you mean this by that?
 
SEO is the traffic engine, AI is the fuel for speed and scale. For affiliate marketing, you need both—but start with the basics of SEO. Once you know what rank, use AI to build it faster and smarter.
 
Try your best in SEO using both your knowledge and effort because just knowing it and actually doing it aren't the same.

Both have their strengths, but SEO is the most foundational for long-term affiliate marketing success , it drives consistent, organic traffic.
AI is a powerful support tool , use it to create content faster, analyze data, and automate tasks, but it’s SEO that brings in the audience.

Best results is to combine both: AI for efficiency, SEO for visibility.

If you're asking about SEO or Ads, that makes more sense. AI is a tool that supports tasks like content creation for SEO or ads, as well as technical SEO. Understanding the fundamental marketing methods is key.

this seems quite ambiguous... can you be more specific? like you mean people using ai to search instead of using search engine or ?
 
You're gonna want to elaborate, those are two very dissimilar things. One's a strategy and one's a tool/technology. I mean you could have compare SEO to paid ads and that would make more sense with your question of which is better for affiliate marketing.

Combine both. SEO is now impossible without AI, you would be left behind.
 
Both are helpful for affilate marketing.
AI is a content research , automation post , for best but SEO is long term traffic on then sale is most important.

Have you found a way to completely "de-google" your traffic? Including from AI mode?

As stated, it's best to bundle several campaigns together, from social, viral, to using relevant high traffic sites as hubs to get referral traffic from click throughs, etc. BH SEO also allows one to be less reliant on Google's latest protocols, thus less worried about their de-ranking or other penalties.

SEO builds long-term, free traffic, but it takes time.
AI helps you work faster — content creation, targeting, and analytics — but it’s a tool, not a traffic source.
