SEO on Baidu?

Hi,
just had a quick question. I am trying to rank a Chinese ecommerce site on baidu, it's still the second result if you search (but I want to rank it on other keywords as well)
I'm wondering if anyone can give me any pointers on doing this? (idc if it's bh or wh, as long as it doesn't go kapoof)

I'm willing to outsource as well, but i'm mostly here to learn.

Are there any Baidu SEO knowledgeable people here that can offer a few tip or tricks????

I've found literally a couple threads on it, but that's about it. What I've gleamed from them, is that the Baidu SE ranks things differently than google or bing?

not sure if it's true or false but that is my main concern.

interested in knowing too.
I think #1 difference is link building gotta come from other Chinese sites.
