SEO Non Wordpress Sit

Hello BHW,

Beginner's question here.

It is my first time to seo a non wordpress website, and I am just using seo plugins before. Now my client forwarded me a non wordpress website, and the front-end has no option to edit the slug and meta title. How do you guys edit the seo of this site???? I also search online but I am still lost.

Attached here is the front-end image of the site. Hope someone can help meee. TIA!

If there are no options at all, the only way is to look at the PHP code and either make modifications there to support what you need, or implement them in the CMS. Depending who makes that CMS, if custom or bought, ask their developer.

By looking at that page, it's pretty much like Yoast, you have meta keyword for key phase and meta description the same as in Yoast.

Front-end means the website, back-end is the management system. So that is the back-end. She mistakenly said front-end (I hope!).

Front-end means the website with it's management, and backend means cpanel/phpmyadmin/etc..

So, she is not wrong.

I think anywhere you can make changes to what shows on the website itself is technically a back end. And you can make changes to code from there too so...

I'm not arguing but, you are wrong. It's not about front-end development or back-end development here.

The goal of any web CMS is to present content to a website audience. Most CMSes have a back end (admin-facing) and a front end (user-facing). The back end is where you add and manage content, adjust the website's appearance, and expand functionality. The front end is what your audience sees when they visit the site.

Man, if you want to change something on your wordpress theme then you get an FRONT END developer to change that theme, if you want to change for example the PHP version on your server you ask an BACK END developer to do it.

Is it that hard to understand? An CMS is in the FRONT END while Phpmyadmin is in the BACK END, you can't install wordpress without using an database, right? You can't run a website if you only have a database, right? They go hand in hand.
