I'm starting SEO.

How many view can I expect in the next 6 month ?

I don't think I'm a genius. I just read everything that's been posted here on BHW and have an okay work ethic.

What are the result of this type of people usually ?

I know on instagram most people tend to have between 1000 and 5000 follower when they're serious but not lucky.

I don't know how many website visit you can get when you're serious but not lucky in SEO.

What's the average here for example ?

"How many view can I expect in the next 6 month ?" it's impossible to answer.
- Have you done your keyword research, if so then what's the search volume for all keywords? Are they easy to rank?
- How many articles are you planning to have in 6 months?
- Are you planning to build links?

these are weird questions, man. How is anybody going to know how many views you can get in 6 months when they don't know what keywords you're ranking for, where, how much content you have, how good your CTR is to get those views, and so on?

You're asking really weird questions :)

Of course I've done all this work. I already said I'm taking this seriously and I read everything that's in here.
And I have a lot of money on the side for building links later on.

I'm not asking for me specifically. I'm asking for the average joe.
For example in dropshipping there's a 90% failure rate.
Here in SEO everybody talk like it's just work.
But it's a business so there's risk. I wanna know how many try and fail.
Even if they do things right by the book.

It's easy just remember all the people who tried SEO around you and make up a stat.
I don't think i'm different than them.

Nobody is going to be able tell you. Even with the keyword done, you can expect a percentage of the actual search volume to go & click on your website. Some people search but don’t perform an action.

Also, social media will increase your unique visitors/clicks/page views over time.

Your best option is do to keyword research, do competitive analysis, search for Instagram & Facebook pages in your niche to check their numbers & viewable engagement.

After you do that, get to work and record your progress. That’s what most people do.

The ANSWER depends on:
- your niche
- competition level of your keywords
- domain authority
- level of content optimization
- backlink quality

Yup. these are some good basic steps. take care of them.

Take a look at some of the biggest companies in your niche, how much competition there is, how easy the keywords are to rank for and estimate by keywords how many views the smallest sites in your niche are doing. Then make your evaluation as long as you KNOW you can produce better content than a few of the smaller companies.

I know all of this and thanks to this forum I took it all into account when preparing my strategy.

But that wasn't the question.

The question is: over the years you must have seen a lot of people try SEO seriously.

What's their succes rate? You must have an idea.

The outcome totally depends on the work you put in
For instance, traffic varies depending on how many posts are live and indexed

It's impossible to estimate since both experience, creativity, articles, etc matter, it's all different from person to person.
There are no statistics on these people and this is the typical response in this branch.

If you make a good site, get some backlinks, quality posts, and a great sub-niche with little to no competition then you will be off for a good start, quite possibly.

Business is always a risk factor, you never know the result until you've tried.

Now just go out there and take your attempt like the rest of us, make a journey on the forum and tell us your results from time to time.

Cheers!

Lol, okay.. I'll do it of course.

I still hope someone pop up and speak his mind.

"I've been here for 10 years and the truth is most..."

or

"Compared to other branches I've noticed that in SEO people tend to..."

If you post informative articles on your website and follow the seo tips shared on BHW, you can expect thousands of views daily.

It's impossible to give you an accurate forecast here, as it highly depends on your niche, quality, and popularity of keywords that you will use, level of competitiveness that you'll face, amount of work you'll invest in your site, frequency of updating it, and so on. I would say that you shouldn't orientate your goals around some number, focus on the quality of your site and its performances instead as this will provide you with desired results, and not some fictive numbers that don't have to mean anything.

depends on many factors, keywords your target, difficulity, competitors, your backlinks profile, your content, and more.

Hey @slimshade,

Unlike other popular marketing channels, https://in2seo.com/ does not work instantly. Most professionals expect to see results in as low as 2 months, but SEO can take as much as 12 months to work. While every company's SEO strategy differs, most businesses can expect to see considerable results in 6 to 12 months.
