SEO newbie question

Let's say I bought a domain name called

Buyxbox360forcheap.com




What do i have to do to make it rank #1 when people search for Buy xbox360 for cheap ??



I am planning to use wordpress. I would really appreciate if you give me a link to the thread that teaches me how to rank a domain name keyword D:

Do some research on keywords. Believe me when I say all the info you need is on this site. Get your reading glasses on and get to it. Thats what I did, and the results are showing!

The best thing would be to get some High PR blog posts to a new site if it's an EMD, you would rank on Top 5. IMO.... !!

Nobody can tell you what exactly you need to do to get good rankings. It depends on your niche and how strong the other sites in that niche are.
First of all you need to start with a set of keywords, like 5-10.
Build the same amount of pages, each of these targets one keyword.
Then start linkbuilding.
Exact match domains can be very strong these days as there won't be any anchor text penalty for using the main keyword as anchor text most of time. Though you should be aware of having a good anchor text mix.

I'd suggest to read a few threads here and buy a good SEO book like "the art of SEO" to get an idea of how build links.
