I get excited when people say that SEO, backlinks and so on doesnt work anymore.
I want them to stop doing it.

No matter its True or false. Majority speaks become the best practice..It means it's passed on like a true fact but it's actually false.
"PBN links will get you 100% penalized" is one I encounter the most.
One of the biggest ones back in the day was that search engines had 2 separate indexes. One for desktop and other for mobile. In reality they were just using different crawler.
Now they really have two.
I guess it's true... many times repeated lie becomes truth

If myth is Google will penalize duplicate content and also High quality content. Even content with not more than 800 words will rank high and also for duplicate content. These are good for some kind of requirement site. Some myth will work for some type of site and some will not. We can't say it's true or false.
