As a start, i recommend you to join PBN network..
That would be a good source of links...
Just make sure that your tier1 links have high index rates and have high stick rate or they will become useless..
If you build links the "natural" way, you will rank after 10 years on Google.
Why do people like you comment on questions when you obviously have no clue of what your talking about, natural linking (whatever that is) is NOT a guarantee that your site will be there over 10 years or even tomorrow for that matter, i have seen many 100% (so called) white hat sites go down in flames, and they had everything, great content, good back linking portfolio and even a small community and still they got fried.
I wrote a blog where you can check about strategies that can help you rank on SERPs.
Calm down dude, you obviously got me wrong there. No need to start insulting and for your information I do know what I am talking about. So let me rephrase what I said, maybe it's my fault: If you build links the "natural" way, it will take a long time to see any effects/rise in the SERP-s. You might rank, you might not. And if you do rank, I never said you will stay there for 10 years. "10 years" was a metaphor implying that it will take a very long time to rank the natural way.
Now, personally, I don't believe there is a "natural" way. And as you said, no one can guarantee that you will stay up. Many of the huge updates have fried many of my sites as well, including "white hat" ones (or maybe gray hat bcoz again I don't believe in pure white hat). That's why now I'm just using mostly blackhat churn & burn methods and tiered linkbuilding ones.
I hope you understand that tiered link building is very unnatural (I know I will get a lot of criticism for it here) but just think for yourself.... if somebody mentions your website on their blog, they don't start building links to it.
Tiered linking works but I'm not a big fan of it.
