This is a method I like to use throughout all of my SEO work - from content creation/publishing to link building and guest blog posts. It's a great practise which I like to do because it feels as though it's correct, it's fun to do, and it absolutely does not hurt your website for ways in telling Google that your content is all related to the niche, whilst filling niche keywords related to or within your main target(s).
It basically "can't hurt to do" and it's a few drops in the ocean of the WWW which could only help. And I hope this short guide does help some of you guys.
The method is Related keywords - "long-tail" kw's but with entirely different searches (for the same thing)
Usage: If I'm writing a (guest) blog post for a League of Legends article on the champion "Kayn" - and I didn't yet want to go into the related of this champion, but I wanted some diversity in my keywords, I could target, alongside "Kayn" :-
For example:
Kayn is my favourite champion on League of Legends; he's an AD Assassin played mostly in the Jungle role, with an adaptive and unique playstyle. This guide will cover some items you can build on the champion, and I'll include a few tips on how to play Kayn for the new players looking to pick up and learn The Shadow Reaper/The Darkin Sythe.
This has my keyword show three/four times in one paragraph, without being the actual word "Kayn" written over and over. This method allows you to write the keyword into the work many times- an aggressive approach to SEO- without spoiling the content for either the Google crawlers or your future readers.
You could then obviously work in the related keywords which aren't just synonyms for Kayn, such as...
And you can continue to use the Related Keywords throughout, to not overuse the word "Kayn" - whilst still signalling to Google, "Hey! This article is about this, and all of my content is related to him, even if I don't say the name in every sentence!" to have your post rank well whilst also, as mentioned before, filling in the related niches and alternate searches a potential visitor could make for what is overall the same thing.
This was sort of a tangent I went off on, for BHW. I wanted to post this thread as a reminder, or as a guide (for those who don't already practise this in their SEO work), before getting on with the things I have to do now.
If anyone is interested, check out the League of Legends searches on Google. They are weird. I've never seen anything so constrained and "solved" as these searches and their related. It's a weird niche - anyone with input, please give it. An interesting specimen— LoL searches are— to be honest.
Also, to see the other things (guides, tips, and QUESTIONS) I write for BHW, see my profile @Piss feed - where I post updates regularly.

- Karasmai (a popular Kayn OTP streamer with a name I had to copy-paste, because what even is this?)
