Where to use long tail keywords? I would use them in the body of the content.
That said, if you structure your article the right way and weave in as many LSI words as possible, you would not have to target each long tail keyword individually ... your pages will rank for 100s of these keywords just because you used lots of LSI words and phrases in your article.

it depends on the article. put the long tail keyword in the middle OR in the first paragraph. put there where it fits.

You can use the long tail KW's widely on content and on some titles.IMO don't use it on title always.Good Luck.

Use it in headings and titles if you can and throughout the body as much as possible without sounding repetiitve or spammy
