Has anyone used seo link robot?
What's their experience?
It looks like the only social bookmarking/article software that is not monthly.

Howdy

Have used it before I moved to Magic Submitter. It was OK, but was fairly slow as it uses IE to post a lot of content (or did). Wouldn't use it to build links to main site / pages, but would be OK at linking to tier 1 sites etc. Main downside is that it doesn't have much in the way of link diversity when compared to the monthly subscription equivalents and as I mentioned, it's a bit slow.

Think of it as a starter auto poster :-)

I might be wrong but I think Ultimate Demon also has a one time fee version. Can't tell you how good or bad it is as I haven't used it as yet, but it seems to offer the same/similar sort of thing as Magic Submitter.

There is also Licorne AIO, which I stumbled across this AM and know nothing more than what the sales page tells me. From what I can tell they offer their sw at $150 for a lifetime license.

You could also look at SErobot which is about $20 a month. From what I've read it's very like SENuke (I've never used SENuke), but with a few less features. I've got it in addition to MS and I tend to use it to do blasts to the outer tier of my links as there are a lot of free, easily importable packets available.

I had the same problem as you in that I hate having to pay for software each month, but after using MS for a few months, it has more than paid for itself. Plus with the monthly subscription model, I think there is more of an incentive for the developers to keep the software up to date with any changes the sites have made - I think MS or it's database has been updated at least 10 times in the last 3 months.

It's slow and has limited sites to post too - I bought it for $200 lifetime over xmas specials he runs - and that's about what it's worth

Ultimate Demon / magic submitter and senuke are better but obviously more expensive.

I do like SEO Link Robot, but I agree with the other comments. SENuke X all the way. A while back I also joined Brian Valentine's Rapid Ranking Blueprint Membership site as well as offline course. It was a one time payment and has taught me how to use both Scrapebox and SENuke X effectively.

I've used SErobot and it's horrible. Lots of bugs in the UI and it's almost never update. The forum is pretty much a deadzone.

The developer behind it (Stephen Hawkins) offers good support, and the software does work (to an extent); as well as Web 2.0, it does Article Directories, Press Releases, Bookmarking, RSS, etc.

I've used SE link Robot and I have a mixed review:
+ Great support.
+ Frequent updates.
- Slow.
- Failed to register on around 20-40% of Web 2.0's.

The category selector doesn't even work right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Op6DJAvA5VI Basically makes the software unusable.

It's okay, but I too prefer ultimate demon over it... Edwinsoft's product is just overall better and more polished. SEOLR is just too limited in the sites it posts to, and UD is better because of the flexibility IMO.
