Hello,

I have a domain where I post from to time for a few years.
After a complete redesign, I removed all spam posts/pages and only the best remaining. Also, the website was down a month or something like that due to some hackers.

I will attach a few printscreen from google analytics and google search console to see the drop-in visitors.

Now, my question is if you can give some advice on what should I do to increase a little the traffic, or to come back as it was last year? Should I continue to post daily/weekly? Or maybe should I buy some backlinks, if yes, what types of backlinks do you think will help me the most?

Thank you

If the current link building has helped you to grow traffic over last few months, just continue it. If not working, switch to another seo provider.

I have never bought backlinks or created for this website.

Keep doing what you did in the past (adding fresh / uniqye content on daily basis) and build some quality backlinks for your site. Quality backlinks in terms of Guest posts with good organic traffic as well as niche PBN's. This will help you to recover your site in upcomg days.

Checkout Link building section - You will find many service provider out there. You need to be picky by selecting the blogs. Start with Niche PBN's / Guest posts, once you satified with the results then go with the flow. Thanks

You should now start to get some quality backlinks over like guest post and pbns work best for mine site !

If in the past you had some success and were satisfied with results, tend to repeat some of those practices once again. Also, repeat keywords analysis, make a new list and add all phrases that could help your rank the site faster and attract more traffic, and aim for the ones that have high monthly search volume, but that isn't that competitive, at the same time. Also, it's a good idea to add some backlinks as well, but make sure not to overload the site with them and only find those that are valuable and related to your niche in some way. For more broad promotion, it would also be useful to advertise the site on social media, Google, to mention it on forums, as all these activities will help you reach a wider audience and get more visits.

Thank you guys for your advice. I will take them into account and start implementing them.

I've done this before and I still do revisit articles and improve them.
I can assure you that just deleting low quality articles and keeping the best ones is NOT an answer. You need to work on each article and see if they need to be improved and work on them. As for the low quality articles, you have to analyse them and maybe merge them or improve.
Just spending 10 mins and deleting some stuff will not improve your site.
It involves a lot of time and work.

Check GSC to track the best performing search queries
Expand on those in future posts

Ofcourse, The quality backlinks help a lot, there are several ways to find quality backlinks, For example, filter the quality of the blogs under metrics (tools like Aherfs, SEMrush, Moz, etc)

As many others have said, just repeat what has worked for you and experiment doing them in a different way or adding a new strategy.

Same as others.. Just remember slight patience too.
