The algorithm ranks new sites higher than their actual positions for few days to see are they good enough. As you said you are in tech niche and still ranking for some good competition KWs which means the algorithm is testing your website's KWs. Give it a week or two to settle then you will know your actual position.

I am not asking his exact niche. I was just asking for a broad niche as op mentioned it is in tech niche. There are some niches where one can rank easily but some are difficult like Health.

You can rank. Wix, wordpress, Joomla, etc are just content management systems. All you have to worry about getting own domain.. Not those free creepy looking ones eg- example.wix.com.

Sometimes you don't rank even after doing lots of KW research and targeting but sometimes you just create content and boom....
