SEO IS DEAD :O .. i doubt it.

For years and years SEO is "dead" according to many people. There is always a way to rank on google.... these are rankings for one of my sites.

Maybe this will motivate someone to keep try ranking....Old methods still working...GL! (old domains, backlinks, social signals)..
Do you use cms or special software?

No not dead as Google still use a voting system called backlinks they need a voting system as without it sites wont rank

I've never cared much about cars (I'm not tech-inclined, computers are the only thing that get a pass from me and that's because I grew up with them, for 40 years), so thanks, for me this is a success indeed :)

sure, let's be honest: that's what YOU would rather have, not me. Like I said, I never cared about technology in general (and about vehicles in particular, which is part of the reason for which I've let my driving license expire in 2021 and I don't intend to ever renew it) besides the PCs (and not even consoles I don't like, even though I do like video games)....

This being said, I don't dismiss the importance of technology, I would be a total hypocrite to say this when I myself can't live without it :D ... But tractors are not my thing. Even if they do make work easier (and they do), I'd rather someone else drive them, and I just walk behind the tractor and do the easy, leftover stuff rather than drive the tractor myself.

Pickup trucks are not my thing. I'm not American, so I don't have cravings for big stuff like many USA citizens do. Small is almost always better :p

much respect! Like most companies (at least the big ones), Google have become the villain. When they've started out in 1999 and up until late 2000s I'd say they have been amazing, I kept recommending them left and right because they've deserved it because their goal back then had been to serve good results to people, they've not been heavily into data mining, forcing behavioural changes and political agenda upon people, total surveillance and technological totalitarianism and all of this crap that plagues our society nowadays.

Back then they genuinely cared about users (or at least that's what I felt) and they didn't force everyone to have the same template of site (business-oriented one), there was huge diversity and coolness in the SERPs in every niche and for almost every keyword, and I felt like little guys and lazy bums like myself could succeed too, which is what had actually gotten me into SEO back in 2008. I genuinely did see potential in using google to make money online, and I genuinely made some easy, passive income between mid-2009 and up until 2011-early 2012. And then things got worse and worse... and worse... and... then the AI came and put an end to everything that worked well. Bleah....

Anyway, kudos to you for not wanting to side with this evil company. Hopefully more people will wake up to the reality (well, the one that I'm seeing and experiencing, I am pretty sure that not everyone is seeing the same things as I do, but one can only hope...)
Funny thing about your stance on Americans and liking big things: tractors require a truck to tow them. And many other farm duties require a truck. We have a farm. So the American thing is a bit out of touch.

my choice of words was probably poor (for which I apologize, English is not my main language so sometimes I do use the wrong words). But you also can't tell me that americans don't think and feel at large scale (is this the right wording??). Nearly everything in USA is big (the roads, the cars, the food portions, the patriotism, etc), so I'm not that wrong in my assessment :)

Blanket statements and stereotypes aren’t something I personally participate in. I don’t have any opinion about things I only know about from watching movies and music videos. It’s true USA is the LARGEST exporter of culture. But this is not something I’ll get into. It’s like politics.

My daily driver is a 2016 Toyota rav4 or a 2002 Honda civic. Take that for what you will. Many people agree with you that saving money and gas is a great thing, believe it or not.

I don't know what "blanket statements" means, but stereotypes can be discussed without problem. They're all around us, so why shouldn't we discuss them? It's like refusing to discuss... I don't know... water, for example... or chocolate. You would tend to believe that everyone likes chocolate but I've met a few people (yes, more than 1!) who don't like it. It's not like they can't eat chococolate because they have a medical condition or something serious like that, they simply don't like it (at least that's what they've told me). I've mentally scratched my head when I heard this, but I didn't say anything else after the initial "really? I don't believe you" and after they've confirmed that they don't like it. And I kind of understood that. I didn't agree with it, but I understood it eventually as chocolate is not something that the body specifically needs to survive.

But then I've heard someone said they don't like watermelons, and I've totally lost my shit (watermelon is my favorite fruit, by the way). At that point, I genuinely refused to believe them. Watermelon is 90% water and 10% sugar, and both of these substances your body needs in order to survive.

Now, if that person was not a human I could have understood how they don't like watermelon (maybe their body doesn't tolerate / need water or sugar), but as a human you can't tell me you don't like the most watery fruit of them all (arguably the most tasty too), as I refuse to believe this and I will think of you as somebody who just wants to be the opposite of what's normal. I don't the right word for such a person, but I'm sure it exists :)

Anyway, what I was trying to say is that refusing to discuss stereotypes is the same as refusing to discuss any other normal thing in our lives, like chocolate or watermelon. I don't see the problem with discussing it...

I don’t have any opinion about things I only know about from watching movies and music videos.
oh come on now... You only know about stereotypes and cultures from movies and music? You've never watched documentaries on anything foreign before? Or the news? Or you've not met foreign people in real life? Or you've not imagined or empathized with people from other cultures and countries to feel them and know their beliefs or whatever? Every man and woman with access to the world (via TV or the internet) does these things almost daily, so you form opinions about everyone and everything that you encounter even without trying. So please don't tell me that you're not forming opinions about stereotypes and cultures because judging and having opinions on everything is part of the human nature.

Now, if you're not human, I could understand whether your nature was different, but I refuse to believe I'm talking to a non-human :)

It’s true USA is the LARGEST exporter of culture. But this is not something I’ll get into. It’s like politics.
I don't think we can quantify this. I would say they're the biggest exporter of influence, not culture. But I can't quantify the influence either, so you're right, best not to discuss this now...

no idea what those cars are, but if you like them that's all that matters :)

Many people agree with you that saving money and gas is a great thing, believe it or not.
um, I do believe that many people agree with me because I have people around me who believe this, so I do know from 1st hand experience that this is true. And I never questioned it to be honest. And I also don't know why you've mentioned this because I never said anything about gas or money.

The lack of money is not why I gave up driving, I gave up driving for 2 main reasons:

- I've never been into driving in general (and here in Romania there are many scumbaggy drivers who feel that the roads belong to them and them alone, and you always risk getting bludgeoned into the head if you tell someone that they've broken the rules, and I obviously want to avoid getting beaten to death because I dared admonishing bad drivers)

- equally important, I have anemia (been having it since I was a kid), and when I was at work abroad (in the Netherlands) I have had two anemia crisis within a week, and both of them had caught me at the steering wheel. And (at least in my case, for other people this might be different) when anemia kicked in I blacked out for like 5-6 seconds (which - as a driver yourself, especially at high speeds - I am sure you agree that 5 seconds can be the difference between life and death) and lost all of my sense of orientation and could see nothing for what felt like 10 seconds or so.

When I came back to my senses I started hearing people like I was underwater or something, I've had this perception for few more seconds after the initial 10 seconds, so - in total - for about 15 seconds or so I lose all of my senses (sense of orientation, eyesight and audible sight mostly... oh, and the touch too, I also don't feel anything around me for like 5-10 seconds when the anemia kicks in, so yeah... about 4 really important senses vanish)

So yeah, that's why I chose not to drive (plus the fact that I genuinely am not into driving like I said, that's not a lie or an excuse, driving had simply never been my thing).... and it has nothing to do with saving money on gas, although I do admit that it's a valid point :)

Anyway, I don't know how we got here, but I think we should stop going off-topic before we get cautioned...

Algorithms keep getting updated, you need to stay creative to keep ahead of the curve that’s all. Most people keep trying dusty methods to rank their AI generated blog page and then wonder why their page isn’t getting indexed.

SEO keeps changing, and the usual ways of getting a website to rank don't really work anymore. If you want to show up high in search results, you've got to use new methods, and social media play a big role in that.

True that! Google keeps changing, but consistent effort with proven tactics still gets results.

The change is not simply SEO or algorithms, it's more meta. Basically, the entire model of "going to third party X search platform, to get your site" has significantly faded in importance, because of things like AI. If a block of ice has half melted, it's still ice, and still works like ice, but it's half as much as may be needed. AI, social media, forums, and click through traffic coming from relevant sites are more and more how to get visitors to your site these days.

For years and years SEO is "dead" according to many people. There is always a way to rank on google.... these are rankings for one of my sites.

Maybe this will motivate someone to keep try ranking....Old methods still working...GL! (old domains, backlinks, social signals)..
I am still cashing six figures of client checks. So dead? Not even close.

I saw your offer and I’m interested. I do spamdexing and churn & burn SEO.

SEO is dead, not because you can't rank, but because the AI snippets made it so that the traffic dried up and made the ROI in most niches useless.

Great, you can get some rankings for 10 clicks per month

Not all niches are useless...many are still good..many that arent covered by AI much... and also some dont have many ads or not at all
..... Some update on rankings and some stats of clicks...

Where?
As said earlier and in other threads, SEO is dead only for those who don't know how to do it.
Before, it was just a copy and paste job to build backlinks, stuff keywords but now you need to be precise, smart and skilful to rank webpages.

Nah this is something people say to cope, but he, keep doing SEO bro, I'll rather spend my money and time on some real ROI instead of fighting a losing battle...
