SEO Is Dead in 2024 - Thoughts?

It´s amazing how you can almost count that every year or every once in a while one of these "SEO is dead" threads to popup. Especially whenever there´s a new shiny toy that is going to disrupt everything,

I remember a post that SEO was dead on 2020 or 2022 maybe and here we are killing something that should be dead 4 years ago, real question is what method are they using, is a method that is being spammed so hard that doesn't work any more?
 
He is actually right about, people are now usses Ai as search engine and google itself no longer give a flying fuck about our content whether its unique or generated..so yeah somehow he's right and people saying the opposite probably have something to sell related to seo .
 
SEO is not dead, those youtubers will always add clickbaits in title and talk crap to attract more visitors so they make more money...

SEO is not dead, but definetly much harder than it used to be.
Another thing that i noted is that for certain keywords such as services where there is a lot of competition, Google Ads, Google my Business and then the "question area" of google take a lot of space.

Today u really have to be in the top 1-3 Positions for a keyword and most people/customers cant afford it, simply because really good backlinks cost today more than they used to.

But for any business owner that is able to practice SEO by himself. It is still profitable.
 
I have been seeing threads like this every year for last 10 years. But seo is nowhere dead till now. I hope that does not happen for next 10 years also.
 
Yes SEO is pretty much dead with few exceptions like local SEO for local businesses.... apart from that (for now) there is no future in SEO. Google platform changed to google paid platform... you see more ads than ever before, you see direct anserws generated by AI, you see videos, PPA, suggestions, reddit (special deal with G) etc... organic search results are no longer priority to Google. Even if you are number 1 on specific keyword you won't get much out of it... so yeah SEO is pretty much dead and stop wasting your time on it.
 
Yes. Already SEO is not as current as it was until now. The most important thing is the content of the website and the services offered.
 
I can't lie saying SEO is dead in 2024 is misleading. It’s evolving, focusing more on user experience and quality content than ever.
 
SEO might not be dead, but Google is stripping the SERPS of all the traffic at ridiculous percentages, leaving scraps for everyone else. Nothing new, I think it's just gotten to the point where there are tons of talented people vying for a pathetic amount of traffic left after Google extracts their enormous share.

It's really hard out here for a pimp to make money for the rent these days...
 
Do not believe anything you see on internet. By saying such controversial issues, these guys just want attention .
 
If seo was really dead, the sellers here would have closed their BST. You might say that demand has reduced but I cannot say even that with confirmation. The old seo sellers can only tell the real picture .
