Hey guys, my website is doing great in google image, in so many keywords I am like 6th picture or 5th picture and I don't know exactly how or why this happened to be frank with you, but in the web searches I am doing horrible not even in top 100, how can this be possible? I'd imagine every person who uses those search terms would have an image with alternative text with same keyword, but how can I be good in image searches while horrible in web searches and how to fix it, thanks.

Hey guys, I am bumping this to get an answer hopefully, maybe I talked too much, but I just would like to know how can a website make good in google search on images, and yet on the web searches on keywords I am like on page 18 or 20.
I want to correct something if I have done it wrong, I don't quiet get why all the traffic I am getting are from google images, my photos are ranked 5th and 7th on my keywords!

This is definitely something that people ask about a lot. Sometimes you see images that aren't optimized ranking number one on Google Image search and others that are well optimized ranking at the bottom. The thing is, Google looks at page information from the site that the image came from and not just alt attributes, files name, etc on the image file alone. Further, images that are not self-hosted tend to rank lower than those that are.
In your case, perhaps your on-page optimization is enough to get your images to number one but not quite your entire website. This could be because Google may not take into account as many factors when serving relevant images but I do not have concrete proof of that.
