I'm really new to this whole SEO thing and I have a few questions.

I own and operate a site similar to mediafire and want to know what steps I would take in order for Google searches such as "download drake im one one mp3" would display my website as a top result.

How would I go about this as I want the searches to find my specific link among clutter. Most of the backlinking I see is addressed toward helping the main site, however I want traffic to individual created links.

Do you mean you want traffic sent to subpages of your site?

Build up some quality links using your sub-page keyword.

You need to make sure those links are indexed by google after they are uploaded. Maybe some script that pings them, or a link off the front page that has all the uploads.

Now you at the bottom. Make a site that you want and promote it slowly. read backlink strategies here and apply them to get an experience.

When a user uploads a file (song), it creates a new link that everyone can view to download. I want that file to be a top result in google so when people search for it they find my link. My site creates these download links like htttp://mysitecom/randomgarble. How would I go about making these subpages high ranking?

When files are uploaded are there titles included?
If so use this for onpage (title, h1 tags).

What your most likely lacking however is domain authority. In order to rank for hundreds of thousands of terms like you are suggesting you need to increase your authority.

This can only be achieved by receiving quality backlinks.
