SEO Guide for Losers

Do you rank one page for all 50-100 kw's or you write new article and make a new page for each kw?

Depending on your kws for example if you have 3 kws with just 1-1500 searches and low competition you can use one page. Since text content is even more important after last updates I prefer to build several pages per kw. In this small niches 3 quality 1000 word articles for 1 kw could be enough to rank your website in top 10 results. And you need a handful of good backlinks to the top spot :)

Good and simple guide.

Thanks

thank you ! nice guide !

You are welcome :)

A few questions: what do you consider brands? Like "bmw.com" or "amazon.com", "target.com", "lowes.com"?

Names - Key-phrases which do not include generic keywords (usually names) are easier to rank

Could you give examples of "names" keyword?

Yes and there are online brands as well. Mashable, BHW, Armorgames. You need to build a community around your website.

About the keywords. For example "online games" both words in the phrase are used a lot so there is no ROI going after it. Lets focus on smaller niche like "online puzzle games" still not easy because all the words in the phrase are used a lot in different niches. But if you go through some puzzle games you may find a game which title is in 1600-5000 range.

I have always worked on long term keywords and many times we rank for many other keywords also. Double benefit + profit. :) Good post OP.

Thanked! You are so damn right when you say that you never lose if you learn something...although is it hard to learn sometimes hehe!

That is called "long tail".. low competition KW.

I hope it will help you :)

Hey Danailo, great post.
Longtails are the way to go by far!

I have a few questions:
Names - Key-phrases which do not include generic keywords (usually names) are easier to rank
What do you mean by this?
Exact-match domains in top 5 - Good sign
But wouldn't a brand be an exact mach domain? Please explain a little!

Also, I can easily find long tails which are under 1000, but finding those which are 1600+ is a little difficult, and 50 of them, even more so? I think most niches don't even have that many long tails available! Do you have a strategy to find that many?

Danailo, Ive read two pages of your threads today: youve really helped my thinking, tx

Long tails are awesome. You can get more traffic from 10 long tails than 1 main keyword that is very high for example. Not to mention the keywords and anchor diversity you would get. I encourage anyone who havenot used this so far to think about it. Also Market Samurai keyword research module is free even when your subscription expires.
