Back in the good old days I had a website reviewing VoIP services and it would make more than $6,000 per month, it was awesome, only about 5 articles containing the reviews and a comparison and then about $200 in backlinks. I remember setting it up in about 15 days and in a month it was killing it, but no more.

clash of clans hack, when there was a trend about clash of clans, top 1 website was making about 1-2k/day. Few people made millions.

I don't really do much SEO but for me my big break with SEO was "Yolo Hack"
Actually just purchased a service from a mod here and it worked really well.
I was on board with Yolo and had one of the first sites on it (which was an app based on the us)
Made a good chunk of money
Always wanted to learn SEO maybe I'll make that a 2020 resolution
I know the concepts just don't know much about the backlinks part.
I really just do spam traffic.

For me, it was counter strike global offensive. I was the first one to crack it. Made private forum and I had 1000 new registrations per day. Altho I didn't made money, the fame was nice feeling. Then valve decided to make it free for all and everything went to shit.

1000 per day?? Amazing number. Was it created in 2010 or before? These years where the active forum years.

Yep it was from 2011 till 2014. Then in 2014 I got dissapointed so I lost the domain. The domain was took over by many resellers and finally after 5 years in septemver 2019 i managed to buy it back for 50$. It might not worth anymore but I was nostalgic

Are you Kenyan, Indian or Ukraine? Only SEO works and not cheap SEO. Good PBNs, somehow the old sites still dominate and new rankings sites are related heavily to old companies, its easy if you already have in-house PBN team once one site gets hammered. I highly doubt you can beat Ukrainians. Its terrible, competitive and spammy for newbies....
Back in the period between 2007-2011, I had an Arabic forum those days when forums were active, I remember getting 80$ a day when there was an event by Google index, I was getting the first page, one time I got paid 850$ from Google Adsense, visitors were around 100000 daily, then I got banned from haters, spammy links, google didn't give me a chance to get back.
Between 2012-2014 I had another forum about home designs and these things, I had 5000 Visitors daily, then I got into college and I became busier, studied abroad in the US, I'm back to the game again after graduation
