Hey, my site is 1 month old, I did and paid some manual seo backlinks and blog posts, but when I put my domain in any "Backlink checker" I see only 1 backlink from BHW forums, any idea why that's happening?

Most SEO services block ahrefs and such link checkers. Also, your link provider might not be indexing their links. Did they provide any proof of the work performed? Several link sellers also don't provide proof, so it's basically a matter of trust.

Connect your site to google search console and you'll notice more links.

Well it's connected to my wordpress.com blog, they show very few traffic, but in my wordpress stats there are much more (wordpress the right one)

Add your website at webmaster tools. Then you may find the links you build for your site.

Just keep building your backlinks steadily without caring too much about backlink checking (all checking tools are slow to update the latest backlinks of your websites)

Thank you for sharing your experience, I could sense that myself, that so many BHW service providers care only about money and avoid producing any output.

How many backlinks you were supposed to buy?

I would suggest not buying a bunch of paid/cheap backlinks. They can serve a purpose, but they need to be part of your plan.

Firstly, you're not gonna see backlinks indexed that fast unless you're lucky or have a sound indexing method. I'm sensing from your OP, you didn't attempt to index them yourself. Personally, I would change from WP.com to WP.org, so that you have more options and more control.

The OP only gave said providers one month, didn't mention what terms are in the BSTs, and was a little unclear on how SEO works as a whole. That wasn't the service providers fault.

Sometimes providers hide their links. Did you get a full report on the links you paid for?
