seo for youtube video case study - help me define factors

hey guys,

i've got 1000 or so (long term) videos on youtube and dominate a couple niches. i've also got about every tool that exists and am willing to put some money for services into an seo case study for videos. i'm posting this thread to ask you if you would help me define the most important factors, types of backlink construction, social signals, embeds, likes, comments and whatever else in order to get the most tangible results possible.

i was thinking that i would seo videos that are on page 2 or 3 with different seo methods in order to determine what gets the best results. can you advise me on what combination of seo methods you think i should try.

i wont post results in the thread, but i will send results to anyone who constructively participates.

cant wait. if you feel good about any particular combination of seo strategy - you can post it in the thread. as long as not everybody wants to try the same thing - it's all good. need minds other than my own cause my perspective is somewhat redundant.

Ideas for combinations of SEO strategy:

1. Only Youtube backlinks = comments on other videos & channels
2. Only external backlinks = only social bookmarking or profiles (perhaps both)
3. Mixture of 1 & 2 = about half of the amount of Youtube only links (1) and external links (2).

So in the 3rd option, you would create 10 Youtube comments if you made 20 when trying the 1st option.

I dig it brother! I'm happy to do all that, the only exception would be that I would probably do at least 50 or 100 or so. I was also thinking of a pure embed campaigne and then a pure social signals campaigne; and of course a combination of both. Really, I am perplexed at youtube, it's how i make most my money, but I've had trouble figuring out why some niches aren't ranking. I use video shadow and tubespy, but i need to dog deeper. I've even run a google news only links to videos, i've done it all and i'm looking for some new ideas - i really appreciate your response because even though i have a comment bot - i've never used it - thanks man! ready for folks to send links! 2 per person a total of 20 videos not including my own.
