i've created a new site with new domain but some contents are the same.
What is the best practice to do for seo, i'd like to close the old site.

if you search something related to my site on google suggest you my old site, i'd like to undstend what to do to make google suggest my new site instead.

There's a lot of information given on the sticky threads of the White Hat and Black Hat section. Research. Don't expect things to be handed to you on a platter. They all did their work, time for you to do yours. There's enough information on this forum for everyone. Just read, write, and apply with a twist. It'll work. It always has, and it always will. You need to do 301 redirect of the old site to the new website. Learn more about how to do proper 301 redirect from old site to new site by searching this forum or in google.

You can find many services in marketplace or you can post in hire a freelancer section if you want some private VA with seo skills.

I would advice full manual work, special attention towards latest penguin & panda updates.

Moreover it is required to know whether you looking for local or organic results?

Secondly, keyword analysis is required to be done so that business keywords should be hit directly and competition in that kw should be studied,

So your on page first, then do 301 redirect of your old site to the new

If your referring to your main site, make sure your not using duplicate content on that, only use 100% fresh unique content. Make the site look good and professional with great content first. Make sure you plan your SEO each time your making new posts. Don't worry about off page SEO until after you have a Nice site to work from.
