Hello all,
I am new to this website and I am very exited to see this much information for free! Any ways, I am a Hypnotist and I have a hypnosis business in the Houston Area. I have a Google Plus Page for my business which came with Google places. How can I get it to rank better? I can not see my business when I search for hypnosis.
Please help.

2. Hypnotize them into working on your Google Places listing
3. Watch rank rise

...in all seriousness have you done any optimization or just set up the basic profile?

If you have no experience in this thing the best you could do is to hire someone with good reviews.

Hypnoman,

I would agree with the other members. You may want to outsource this, especially if you don't have a lot of time to commit to it. There are some basic things you can do to help the page rank better. Add as much info to the profile as is allowed. This means adding the ten images allowed, videos, keywords, descriptions, etc.

For your plus page, post content on a regular basis. You could just share links or you could write posts (i.e. hypnotism tips). Really it will take a much larger effort.

If you want to increase your Google Place ranking . You should submit your business info to various local directories and point them to your google plus page...

Make sure you submit your info to several directories, but make sure that you enter your business information exactly as it is in your Google business listing. Also get some good reviews and a couple +'s ,this will help get ranked faster.

Thank you all for the responses. I will do as suggested.

Is it possible to post through the Google plus page? I have other pages I can post through but I couldn't figure how to do so on the one from Google places.

Don't waste time doing something you are not efficient at, outsource it. Spend more time doing the things you are good at. Everyone wins. yay.
