You need to do articles for the products your selling .
You need to look up longtail keywords for your product and do fresh articles and then point web2.0 on them to bost indexing .

I would add that to be successful in eCommerce and you do not have brand recognition, you need to provide something for free better than your competition.
This can be quantity information, content that adds value and understanding of your products. Details on the product that they cannot get anywhere else. Details on how your product relates to other products and information on those interactions that you cannot find anywhere else. A widget, something like a calculator that measures something that your product does or has impact on.
These are the types of things that will build you natural links to go along with the rest of the SEO practices described above.
Always think, if there are 10 other companies in the search results why would the customer buy from you over them.
