SEO for brand new site - recommendations?

I'm having a new site built around a series of products all tied together under a central theme. There should be about 18 product pages each with its own associated long-tail keyword that I should be able to rank decently for. I'll tweak the on-page SEO stuff as best I can, but I want no part of the off-page SEO I want to outsource it all, but I want to make sure and do it the right way......suggestions on services/providers etc?
