Have some blogspot blogs that get about 500-1000 organic page views a month. What should I do to increase the traffic ? I do not plan to buy custom domains for these.

Seems like you already have a decent base established on each if you're getting 500-1k views. I'd look at the keywords you rank #5 - #20 for and hit those keywords, and their LSI/longtail variations, with spam, as I wouldn't spend too much on links for a Blogspot asset, and since you're on Blogspot you can handle some spammy links anyways. One article is on second page. It got 12000 pageviews till it was posted. First position is of a youtube video

It is a celebrity site. Some keywords are on 4-5 and above ranks are for websites like wikipedia.

check the keywords you get traffic for and then see if there are any advertisers for the keywords its ranking for, if you find advertisers then you can rent it out for profits.

Yes, it depends on how well you convince them.. If its ranking on page 1 for their keyword then it will be a easy sale 
I would call these advertisers directly and tell them I have a site ranking on page 1 in "Niche" and I have people calling me for help.
