SEO For an eCommerce Site

I have an online clothing ecommerce store through shopify. Was wondering the best type of SEO for my website? The keyword research is a bit hard since its very competitive.

What the best way to go - Social bookmarking? Backlinks? PBN? etc...

no best way in seo.
But if you have much money, maybe you can buy pbn service

btw, for this case, i think you dont need focus to seo because you cant win in SEO fight with amazon or biggest company. They have much backlink than everyone.
So, the best solution is
1. Branding
2. Find dropshipper for help to sell your product
3. Spammer/buzzer in social media.

After point 1,2,3 are done and you have much money, you can burn your money for seo.

Content is the first thing you should be working, write articles with the descriptions of your items, sizes, colors, if the item is made for an special season for example winter jackets, make sure to put that into the Tittle and in the article itself, look to provide the best service, and then the backlinks will come alone with that.

This is a huge category. I think the only way to market is through social media ads and paid search in short term. SEO is a very very long process for this category.

Target your location based real back links and social media sharing's of your daily offers & deals.

You must consider first your content. Optimize your product details and write unique descriptions. So you must avoid duplicate content. For your keywords, go after long tail keyword terms. They usually convert. Then, check your ecommerce site for technical issues.
