SEO for Amazon List

So i have products that are my label and no one can sell on amazon so getting SEO done for this listings is OK since i wont be shooting myself in the foot for competitors getting on the listing.


I was trying to figure out how probable it is to get the listing to rank really fast with link building since it is an authority site.


The real question is which link do i build links for.


For all of you that are not familiar with amazon there is like really a lot of different urls to choose from to rank the product on the Search engines so trying to figure out which one to concentrate on to make the listing rank.


Any suggestions would help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the basic format for amazon links is just amazon.com/dp/<insert ASIN here>. Everything else just gives amazon info about how​ the user got to that product page.

I think it's more than URls. How about wish list?

I've experimented a bit with ranking Amazon product pages for friends. You should go with the url that neverquitting pointed out above. You also need to look at the search results with filters off in order to track your rankings, otherwise you'll see only a few Amazon results in the entire top 100, and yours is unlikely to be included. You can see the unfiltered results by adding "&filter=0" at the end of the search url. To show up in the filtered results, which is what you want, you typically have to be one of the top 2-3 Amazon pages for that search.

As for actually ranking the pages, I found that spam + medicore pbn links got me to p3/p4. We didn't see enough profit potential to justify investing further, so the experiments ended there

If you are linking for the long term, I would treat it the same I would treat any money site. Build out some press releases, web2.0s, start a PBN.

You need to do a complete SEO works for your amazon sale page only then it'll help you.
And, be carefull only Whitehat method will be useful for you.

Why dont you divide your days with link building,Believe me that will work better,I mean days division on PBN,Web2.0,Forums etc.

PBN's. Exact match anchor text. That's what worked for me. I have an Amazon listing sitting at no.2 and has been top 5 for years. It'll take a few months to get up there but then it'll stay without any further work being done.

Completely lost track of this thread, my bad.

For many product searches, Google filters the results so that the top 100 isn't filled with pages on Amazon, Ebay, etc. In general, the filter makes it so that only a couple of Amazon pages can rank in the top 100, even if the algorithm places dozens of Amazon pages in there. If you're trying to rank an Amazon product page, you'll very often see that it's not ranking at all and wonder wtf is going on. Removing the filter will let you see where your page is actually ranking. Then the game is moving your site past the Amazon pages that show up in the filtered results (the strongest pages), at which point you'll start showing up to searchers and getting traffic.

Here's a random, concrete example - do a search for "steak knives". Go to pages 2 and 3 of the filtered results, and make a note of the pages that you see. Turn off the filter, and notice how those pages are replaced by Amazon search results and Amazon product pages. If you wanted to rank a product page for this query, say "Amazon.com: Wusthof Gourmet 4-Piece Steak Knife Set", you would need to build links to your product page until you passed the Amazon listings on page 1, which are "Amazon.com: Steak Knives: Home & Kitchen" and "Amazon.com: Steak Sets: Home & Kitchen". Make sense?

It may take a while to rank as nothing is instant. But good quality PBNs would be the way to go.

Link building for Amazon Listing isn't so effective I think. You can try Secure Effective off-page SEO method like Wish List, Shopping List, Gift Idea, Gift Listing, A2C, SAdCI etc.. I hope those will work more effectively then other method..

Also thinking about these poins, but how many wish list entrys you need to raise up the ranking?

If you clowns want to prove your an amazon expert why dont you answer the questions asked instead of posting a generic sales copy for your services. If you are good and can provide good advice you can afford to get jr.vip and open a thread in the marketplace. That way it gets reviewed and helps weed out the complete scam artist
