Are 1 page sites harder to rank?

Let's say I have an ebook how-to product.

I have 3 kws that I target.

Should I write 3 separate sales pages and optimize each sales page for one of the 3 kws?

Or should I 3 unique articles, make each article a web page (thus making my site 4 pages instead of 1), and SEO each article page individually?

What should I do to make my single page sites overcome the stigma of being "small"?

1 page site is not bad at all......I have 4 websites ranking first ten in very competitive keywords........

1 page site are much easier to rank than other IMO. All my 1 page sites rank always very high for competitive keywords...

I agree with the one page site just build your backlinks and do your keyword research Micro niches is where its at!

I was posting in another thread about an idea that might pertain here too. Does anyone know if using a div overlay would work for stuffing a single page site with a ton of keyword rich content and then overlay it with a page that is more viewer friendly.
We are discussing it on this thread http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/cpa/187274-stuff-keywords-content.html#post1674302

What I'm wondering about is how this will effect seo. Will it cause a neg hit for seo the same way as the old trick of doing a background and font color to hide keyword rich text, or will it slide past the spiders and help a site rank higher?
