Hi,

Today i saw something strange when i was checking some backlinks from competitors, i just dont get the clue and i want to now why he is doing it.

Here we go:

www.domain.com

and a hidden url.

www.domain.com/viagra

He pointed lots off sape links to www.domain.com/viagra

www.domain.com is just a normal website about holidays.

I do not want to post the real urls here.

Would love to now why he is doing this.

It's most likely a hacked site.

hacked site, send a email to owner and your comp will be out for some time.

I am pretty sure the owner of the website is not aware of that page, which was probably set up by someone else who has access to it (webmaster, seo, hosting employee, etc).

its quite an old technique. People hack other sites and put their own link there. ...

As said above, the owner of the website, would not aware of that page on this site!

yeah this person has most likely been hacked for a backlink and they don't even know about it.

People do this to get the advantages of an authority domain and use it for churn and burn.
Once they get penalized, it's not them losing their website.

Yepp, your site was hacked. Delete this page from website, and use Google service to delete this page from Google (read here). also change passwords to admin panel and i advice you to setup antivirus for your website.

It could either be a hacked site or someone using one of their old sites with some authority, either way it sounds pretty dodgy, keep an eye on it though you might learn something.
