I just read a thread asking for "SEO expert". IMO, the OP should ask for TOOL expert. TOOL expert is the person who can be familiar with all the automated tools like senuke, amr, bmd, xrumer, scrapebox (with basic old school knowlwdge like: make shield and build backlinks to money site, don't directly spam to money site, blablabla...), he/she should also know about basic keyword research and basic onpage optimization (keyword in url, meta tag, meta description, tittle, and keyword density)
TOOL expert is essential for real SEO expert and saving their a lot of time (and money of course). Without TOOL experts, SEOer have no time to become SEO expert.
But how much for a good TOOL expert working 9-5, who owns amr, bmd, xrumer, scrapebox, a dedicated server for those tools and can finish these DAILY tasks:
- build 10,000 live Xrumer links, 10,000 live Scapebox links, 500 live amr links
and AT THE SAME TIME
- research and offer a keyword with competition < 0.5, CPC>1, exact search > 1,000 monthly at any niche.
- OR write a basic landing page with proper onpage seo (keyword in url, meta tag, meta description, tittle, and keyword density)
- OR rewrite and produce 20 unique and readable articles
- OR make 50 web 2.0 properties with backlinks to money site
- OR make 100 high PR, high Authority, EDU, GOV... blog comments or profiles
- OR make 100 blog posts to your system.
- OR ... (for your excess choice such as facebook, twitter, youtube....)
- OR even send 10,000 unique mails. "Unique mail" means each mail is unique and separate from the last ones. Separate because of the personalization of the subject and the content to each recipient. this would help to get out of filter triggers and inbox mostly ( for opted-in list of course).

All you need to give them is the lists, URLs and keywords and scheduled task for each day.
Give this thread a number and help us to clarify how much for a good TOOL expert aka VA, and how you intend to pay.
Everyone can benefit from this thread.

I'd give that person a month to see if they produce any results for a domain. $500 for the first month.

produce any results for a domain

you mentioned about SEO expert.
TOOL expert is responsible for TOOL operation
SEO expert is responsible for result - that's you:D

I disagree. There are a lot of different ways to use xrumer and scrapebox. A good "tool expert" can produce results, not just thousands of links.

I can buy thousands of links on Fiverr if that's all I want.

yep, i totally agree with your disagreement.
like i said, i make this post after reading a post here asking for SEO expert for 400/month. lots of people say that price is not proper for SEO expert who know everything, own most of things and can do anything to get result, because he/she would do for her/himself.
i agreed with them.
but that OP had the reasons to post that thread. i agreed with him too.
i make this thread just to clarify how much should i pay for a good tool expert who own and run smoothly most of seo tools under my direction.

That's a good point. I generally hire people based on their trainability, how easy will they learn what I want them to do.

Some people would rather have a steady paycheck than take all the risk on their own. Even though they may be good, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

I'd pay $400 a month if the SEO expert was to promote multiple sites. Most people that know how to use all those tools and are experts with them, are already making great money from SEO and blogs etc...

nice points but you started this on wrong section

@goodseoman: The correct section is "The Lounge"...

Hiring a freelancer <-- is FOR HIRING PEOPLE.... not making polls.

As for pricing I work with some people similar to your posts... It ranges from $500 (India and similar) TO > $2,000/mo (USA).
