It's probably a BiFrost trojan binded with it as stated.
And Bifrost server doesn't execute properly due to lack of UAC compatibility and kernel hooks. The bifrost was long time ago unsupported.

So if you are under Vista/7 you are safe. If you are under Windows XP, I recommend install a version of Kaspersky Lab's product (Pure is the best)

windows vista keep on blocking patch.exe

death to the ones that put the virus in the zip file.

If anything I'm impressed that people are still hunting around for SEO Elite. Brad Callen did a good job, this tool has held it's ground with all the competition. There are some good versions out there in torrents, possibly even in the downloads section here. However, if you really like the program and want to use it, pay for it!

This thread was started in 2007. It is 3 years later...why would this software not be totally obsolete. Many things have changed with SEO in the past 36 months.
