I am having a problem deciding on a domain name because of a plural.

Say I have a choice of 2 domain names:

nightclub[more-keywords-here].com
nightclubs[more-keywords-here].com

In your opinion, which would you go with?

Thanks

Use market samurai and base your domain off the highest searched/and most relevant keyword to your site...

I don't have market samurai but I heard a lot of hype about it and have been called an idiot for not using it. Is there a free version or is it on the dns list?

I am still using an older version with most of the features working (got it in the GET section here), however, the makers do offer the "Keyword Research" section of the program free of charge to anyone who wants to use it.

Seems pretty good to me, though a lot of the times it won't pick up long tail keywords. For instance, if i search for keywords on "Lady Gaga" in Market Samurai, i get 4 results. When i search using google's new keyword tool, i get 138 results.

(this could be because my version is old... if this is the case, someone should tell me :))

So maybe the free Google keyword research tool is better?

What else exactly does Market Samurai do?

Also if anyone still has an opinion on the domain name feel free to say it. Thanks

check adwords keyword tool see which gets the most hits with or without the S

Lots of different markets have different effects. Due normally to wether its a b2b or b2c business.

If your b2c use without S
If your b2b use with S

AS my general rule

MS - is in the download section just get the older one think the new version is there but I havent tryed it yet dont want mess up my good old one :D

They have a free 14 day trial on market samurais site...also using market samurai along with a program called Word Wizard allowed me to find a TON of long tails...word wizard is freakin great...

Domain Samurai gives you all the keyword functions without having to require a crack, since it's free to begin with. Just a tip if you're worried about being 'updated'.

Other things MS does... my favorite function of my cracked MS version is the Competition Analysis, which gives me this kind of info:
MS-SEOcomp.JPG

Basically shows you the top 10 in google for the keyword in question, and lays out all that info so you know how far ahead of you they are.

I also use the rank tracker, which lets me keep track of my SERP's rankings on various keywords.

It has like 6 other modules (things it can do), but i haven't even looked at those yet.

he should have that data in Domain Samurai too.

If more people are searching for "keywordS" rather than "keyword", target "keywordS"
