Hello,

I've been reading threads here and came accross this one, that just recently got posted: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/are-there-any-seo-packages-that-actually-work.1326455/

I have the same question. What would you suggest for the new website? Its built on Wordpress, used The SEO Framework on it. its in transportation industry and I have no clue about SEO. What would be some basics to kick this page on? Country is Switzerland if that maters at all.

Things I did: on page (html) techniques, published bunch of the services and couple of blogs. Tried to comply with gtmetrix. Everything looks sharp, but now its time about SEO where I have NO knowledge.
Not sure where to start, what to do. I'm about to buy some SEO package, but I don't even understand most the terms used (like tiers, DAs, etc..). On top of that, most people say these packages are just worthless and I'm now confused.

TLDR, what should one new/fresh website do to kick off well. Competitors don't look so tough, but maybe its just my view.

First of all your site should be on-age optimized. If your onpage is not good then definitely it will the worthless buying these links.

Do some keyword research. You should know which keywords you are gonna rank and which are easy to rank. And then build some foundation links. Then buy PBN or Guest posts (whatever you like).

If you wanna go deeper into SEO then take a look at the beginner's guides here before buying anything.
 
If your site is new , so no backlinks , grow it with white hat and with good content over , then when the white hat doesn't work then come forward with black hat backlinks about 2 months later , my suggestion would be stick with white hat seo !

Longer answer: Your website in new and takes time and effort to build some authority on it.

If you think you did proper ON page seo then start building some quality backlinks.

PBNs are very good, if you know where to buy them, do some research, as a few people here on forum offering some great quality links.

Guest posts can boost you up as well.

Build it slowly and keep optimising your website regularly. You should be fine.

I am not sure in what niche is your website, but I have managed to rank some of my clients just using the good content and ON-page SEO. It all depends.

When you start doing backlinks, just focus on topic relevancy. Here is an example:

Lets say you are in air conditioning industry. The website you getting link doesnt need to be about air conditioners or the same industry like yours. You can get the link from the restaurant blog for example, as long they mention you in relevant topic like:

IE: In summer time, restaurants using more electricity because of constant air conditioning usage, but here are the tips from -your business url or brand name- how to reduce a bill in only a few steps. Boom, nice backlink you just got there.

This is what i do all the time, and it works very well. I was a guy who was chasing only relevant websites and was thinking how that is the only way for building links, but it just not true. Keep it in topic, thats all.

I suggest you to investigate and read a lot to learn at least the basics, yes is boring but based on that you will make a decision so you know how you can rank your website, using back links, PNB, proxies, bots, vpns, some methods are easy than others.
SEO is huge and there is no right or wrong there are just a few thing that suits you better than other.
 
There are several things you could do to start your SEO process, and the first thing to which you should dedicate your attention to are keywords, as you have to do pretty thorough research for this to find the most adequate ones that you want to target and put inside of the content and all tags and meta-tags that exist on your site. Besides, you should search for relevant backlinks as well, although you can implement them in later stages, it's good to have some kind of a plan in advance. Also, checking your overall site's performance would be a great thing in the beginning, and if you're not sure how to do all of this by yourself, you can ask someone to assist you.
