I'd skip it, the average domain ages are all high, that stands out.

Yer the domain age is really high. It depends much traffic you expect to get to see if it will
be worth it. Check your seot in the keyword research and then check the first website what quality backlinks it has.

For me, if its 5+ PR I skip it, anywhere on the top 10 no questions asked... unless its a YTube video then you need to ask if they are looking for the video or actual information. If its a PR4 you need to see how strong of a 4 it is, if it has the keyword EXACT match in the URL somewhere, whole not fragmented, and in the title, then its probably a strong PR4, so I would move on... unless under special circumstances.

Goal is PR3 and lowers, all top 10, then you know its going to be easy to dominate in a timely manner.

I'd say no 2...maaaaaaaybe. Hard work and patience.

No 1 - not so much
No 3 - Forget about it

Like stated above, the domains are very old, and I'm guessing they have the keyword(s) in the domain... Question is also: Are they currently doing SEO work as well?

hey...how much searches and SEOT so a keyword can be called micro niche?

i have the same problem with this domain age thing..i get many keywords with good seot..with first 10 sites having hardly 20 backlinks..but they have good domain age..5-11 yrs..i m not sure whether to go for it or not..i am looking for expert advice here..

Dont just look at the domain age, you gota see that most of them arent even optimised for that keyword you searched and probably ended up their by accident. Also their backlinks to most of the pages are very low and there is 1 fairly new domain in each one. Also check if on the results there are any web 2.0 pages such as youtube, metacafe, digg etc.. those are quite easy to outrank if you get some good links to your page and seo the page well.

I appreciate the talk of Jake3340
Most of the keywords of your 3 list are no optimised and mostly all the backlinks are low.
