SEO competition general question

I'm new to SEO and I was wondering how hard it is to beat the competition.

When I search with google for a keyword like "good SEO keywords" there are like 1'300'000 results.

I was wondering,

1. how many results are "beatable(first page on google)" , and what are the costs to do so?
2. What is considered a good amount of monthly searches for a keyword?
3. What is considered a good ratio of monthly searches / competition sites?

All those questions' answers depends on the situation, we can not talk general because it is SEO! There are many updates on Google, so ı think nobody can be %100 accurate.

oh yeah..it's true..it's true..but i think some old trick still working..try follow some method on here.

or you can use a seo plugin that already calculate all these for you. i use squirrly seo for this

--> Ignore the number of results Google yields, this has absolutely no baring on rankings.

2. What is considered a good amount of monthly searches for a keyword?
--> That depends on how profitable the keyword is to you. I've ranked for keywords that have a few hundreds searches per month, but are worth 10s of thousands per sale and other keywords that are worth a few hundred dollars per sale and have over 100,000 searches per month. Both could be considered equally valuable. It's not about the number of searches per-say, rather it's on the profit potential * volume.

3. What is considered a good ratio of monthly searches / competition sites?
--> Using various tools competition classifications isn't always reliable. In fact, I never use such tools to determine for me as I find they are wildly inaccurate. The difficulty depends entirely on your skill set.

just start reading the SEO section and you will find your all answer because there is no 100%b accurate answer for this.,.

This can't be answered unless there are more details, there are so many variables.
