dude you are a long way to go in terms of SEO!what he meant was that to diversify your anchor text(keywords you have targeted for ranking) & making some too optimized(like those bold,italic & linking stuff) is bad for seo as well since Google is hunting down sites they are relying heavily on on page optimization instead when they should do the most important thing of all;contributing to your niche audience with unique & engaging contents on a regular basis.also when you are using anchor text make sure you use long tail keywords,click here,more info etc as well to make it all looks natural.wish you all the very best of luck with your project man :).

Listen, I was being sarcastic. I know this is a forum so I guess I can not acuratley describe my tone - it was pure joking. I am sorry if it came off like a dick reply.

I simply want to stay on track here - and not have pissing back and forth between 2 people.

CALM DOWN! This is a case study thread yet people have to act like "idiots" and post a stupid reply - as in the reply I first mentioned!! Missing the big picture? Your reply is just adding fuel to a fire that should never have started.

You realize now the most experienced people on the forum with the most SEO knowledge are not going to help you now you've shown your true colors.

My "true colors"?!?!?! LOL - know what my true colors are?!?!?!?!?!?....I simply do not want the thread hijacked - I wanted tp keep it on track!!!! WHAT PART OF THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!

I would think that me expressing that I ONLY want to keep this thread related to this case study shows that I do not tolerate BS - and want to keep this a fun and educational thread.
 
Ok, time to get this thread back on track...

UPDATE:

*added W3 Total Cache to make sure the page load is fast

*have 15 new articles ready to load up (3 for each KW) - will either put them on the site tonight or wait until the morning. (going to see if google indexes any more pages today then decide)

*now looking for some low cost options to help jump start the rankings. IF ANYONE HAS SOME SUGGESTIONS I AM OPEN TO LISTENING.
 
Also just extended to domain renewal an additional 5 years
 
Ok, just ordered a "gig" from fiverr - high pr links. I ordered 6 gigs (1 for each of the 5 kw's and a extra to have it done within 24 hrs) - Total spent: $30

This is the first money spent aside from renewing the domain private for an additional 5 years ($100)....optimizepress ($100)....hosting ($15)....so in total I have about $250 in the site.

I will be posting 15 new articles in the morning also.
 
****UPDATE Day 3****

*The high pr links I ordered yesterday were completed. In total I got 60 (12 per kw) - these are all from high pr authority sites

*All have been ping

*Just ordered an indexing gig for these as well

Not going to add new content to the site today - hoping to get more pages indexed first.


Day #3 Google Rank - 3/26/2012
KW1 = Not in top 1000
KW2 = Not in top 1000
KW3 = Not in top 1000
KW4 = Not in top 1000
KW5 = Not in top 1000

Day #3 Page Totals
Total Number of Pages on site: 33
Number of Pages Indexed by Google: 2
 
*Just added 5 more articles (1 for each targeted kw)...binging the total number of pages to 38.

*Just pinged all pages again in hopes of getting them indexed quickly

Going to take things slow over the next few days and wait for the high pr links to kick in - which should get the kw's ranked...maybe not high...but at least show up...and give something to build on. Will be adding 5 articles a day until those high pr links kick in.

*Will re-ping all urls that are still not indexed now

*Going to write 5 new articles now...monster ones....1,000 kws each to add tomorrow evening

*Will run a keyword rank check tonight and see if any have been picked up by google yet
 
netmoney1, it appears to me that you're doing too much of the same stuff (like adding content)...

Also, paying for getting indexed is not wise. One good backlink to your site or simply +1'ing it will get you indexed anyway.

And, some folks here have asked you whether your business was local or not. So, it is? Cause , if it is, you should be promoting it differently.

Now, regarding the competition. In the beginning of the thread, you said the keyword were highly competitive. Could you expand on this one? Have you analyzed your top 10 competitors, i mean, their link profiles, content, etc.?

Thanks for the info...not a local niche. Yes, I have looked at the top 10. There are a bunch a crap sites up there. Crap content, not updated, etc.

Thanks for the indexing tip...I'll make sure to +1 all pages if that will do the trick.

Just checked google webamaster tools and see that there are now 7 sites linking in....
