A national domain (Sweden) .se site with Swedish text and google.se rankin needed - what would be the best approach?

I meet so many different opinions.
Some say use only .se links etc.
Others say that linkbuilding is so powerful that it doesn't matter.

Well, fact is, novone from BHW has been able rank the better than #10 for a niche keyword. not hard competition.

Can it be better just to buy a new domain and start all over?

No one from BHW ranks better than #10 for a niche keyword? What? I personally rank on the first page for a ton of niche keywords.

Ideally you are going to want some links from .se domains with Swedish anchor text, but links from other TLDs will help your site rank as well. For instance my English site has links from .se and .ru domains which certainly help in terms of Search rankings. I would say maybe send a few .com and .net links at it would do you no harm. Is the term one local to Sweden only?

    Hi.

What I meant was, the services I've bought on BHW helped shit.
I have a lot of links from .com sites. Can the problem be that I need more .se links?
Where do I find a guy that can sell .se links?

The keyword is english, because no local name exists for it :)

You don't need only .se links. You should definitely add them, but they are not necessary to rank the website in foreign Google. Variety, quality of backlinks, natural pace, and many other things are what matters.

Are there other Swedish sites covering the same topics? If so I would get out there and do some outreach to see whether you can write guest posts or get mentions from those sites. That would be the best way to .se links in my opinion.

In regards to the services on here, I think they vary massively in quality.

Recipe to rank your website on .es are as follows:
Things Required as stated according to their importance:-
    1. .se Links
    2. .com, .net, .org etc links
    3. .se forum discussions
    4. Variation in keywords
    5. Social Activities from Facebook, twitter etc.
    6. A press release in local website (If possible)

    Way to do:-

Just mix the above given things. According to the importance do it more, like Point 1 should be done more than point 2 and going on... After 3-4 months of intense cooking you will see that your food is ready and people are eating happily from the first page of Google.se

    Yummy... Taste is Good.

P.S. Just wrote it in a funny manner, but the things I told are not funny. Thanks

Sometimes its not that easy to rank in local eu countries for some niches:

    1. Private WHOIS isn't available so its possible to detect your whole network in 2 secs with a simple search and it's hard to come over high pr domains for a descent price.

    3. Almost non existent Article Directories, Wikis, Press Release and Bookmarking Sites.
I think in Sweden there is only 1 Press Release site and to use all functions you need to pay a monthly fee?

    4. High Pr Web 2.0s are either paid or invite only.
Rest are often PR0 in best case

    5. Since the population is small, whole country is like an open link wheel.
I was once asked by a dude to rank a kw in Sweden, he wanted the #1 spot.
Site holding the first spot had zero on-page optimization, 200 words of text, no meta description, no image no nothing.
Only 20 links, but every single one of those links were from PR4 - PR6 domains, with the PR6 domains having a DA of 80 and PA of 60.
