SEO Blue print for an Ecommerce site

Why would you want to follow a blue print? Simply think of you niche, where do people interested in this go on the internet, spend there time nearly all have some kind of community on the social networks, so go create some high quality links on blogs, forums and sites like pinterest & reddit if you site is image/content rich.

It's what GhostPanda said. Just do your own thing, SEO isn't hard AT ALL.
Just try thinking of places that will attract your attention when you'd see a product of your shop on there. Think of networks like Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and so on.
What is always a must-have in my eyes for a good SEO is a nice stack of 'personal' accounts on forums, blogs and other websites. Just make a fake profile with made up details, and start visiting those sites daily leaving your posts, comments or whatever.
This way, when you'll post a link on such a forum or blog it will most likely be appreciated instead of deleted because you have an active profile.
And always build links according to your traffic stats if you want a long term rank. Google finds it strange when a shitload of links come in on a website that's barely visited.
