I'm trying to enter the SEO market and although I've completed various SEO Audits in the past (for learning purposes), I'm never sure how to present them to the client in the most sales-effective way.

Could anyone share any advice, resources or examples to presenting an SEO Audit Report to a prospective customer?

Thanks in Advance.

P.S. I've searched Google but only found endless 'how to' guides which isn't what I need.

It all depends on the client.

I have written audits in 5 or 6 different formats always to accommodate the requirements of each client.

Now, I am writing and presenting my findings in a Google Slide presentation...Short, concise, and to the point.

Clients often prefer it this way. So, my advice/tip to you is to avoid the fluff and present your insights and recommendations.

I invested a lot of time on this in the past and have been able to download dozens of SEO audits, spreadsheets, checklists, reports, etc.

If you want to do the SEO audit get Ahrefs, check the websites organic traffic (did it grew naturally over time or in one night, check the DR if it's jacked, and check URL rating distribution quality. Now the fun part, go to their backlink history and check all the crap of the websites they used to link back. Check what anchors they used most often, and in the end, do keyword research.
