I am in the process of developing my website and would like advice on the best way to use images with SEO and google.

I will be purchasing stock images, so what is the best way to use images regarding the image type such as jpeg, the local keyword for naming the image such as:

las vegas acupuncture
acupuncture las vegas
las vegas + acupuncture
acupuncture+las vegas

any other tips would be appreciated.
Thank you
Brian

While I'm sure there's plenty of info floating around on Google, if there's any spoon feeding to be had, I would also appreciate thoughts on how to best weave effective SEO and keywords with images or image focused (photography, etc) websites/blogs/magazines.

Stick to the basics. If you are using a product image or stock image just add the website logo in the bottom right / top left. Google said years ago it would stop that kind of stuff and it could tell the difference.. well it still can't (not in my experience) in my niche everyone uses the same stock image (some provide their own) I have a logo in mine and it is still seen as "unique"

As for SEO and images.. go back to basics. It does not alter with time and is still standard practise.

Give the image a title tag to explain and a decent alt to explain the image for screen readers no need to stuff or do anything else fancy what it is using OPs example.

Photo (save photo as) "las-vegas-acupuncture.jpg" or relevant you can use - or _ I find _ works better as for old school coding _ was seen as a space.

Title "las vegas acupuncture"

Alt (describe the image as if it was a screen reader going over it) "Acupuncture services in Las Vegas" or "Client receiving acupuncture in Las Vegas" or what ever it maybe.

That's all there is to it if you ask me, I've yet to have any problems.

That's the basics if you ask me and what id consider spoon fed. Anything else more advance than that comes with experience and time or maybe someone else will share ;)

Adding images on your blog posts can undoubtedly give you excellent traffic. One tip is that using original photos will provide you an edge than stock images. You may also consider putting GIFs since these are trendy nowadays. Another tip is setting the file name by using the right keywords such as names of places and common words that viewers would usually type in search engines. Moreover, you have to make sure that you're using the right format. JPEG is excellent for larger illustrations or photos, PNG is for background transparency, SVG for icons and logos, and WebP for high-quality images with smaller sizes.

How to rank images in google?

@Mane.D

To enhance your image search ranking, here are some tips, as well. Use the right file format, utilize the Image Title, always make Alt Text, use accessible and relevant images, build an Image Sitemap and Page Metadata, put an Image Caption, use descriptive file names, and trace your image-based traffic.

Using images for conveying transformations etc.. would be really worth it.
Like before & after a tattoo work.
