Hi Kieren, How are you? well In 2026 if you start Only SEO, then it will be hard to sustain in the business for longer, only SEO will not help as its time taking method, do SEO on Page, GBP ranking and Social media, along with paid ads, split the budget in both paid and organic, so either way you can generate traffic and SEO, too...

SEO in 2026 now will take 6 months Minimum, if you push really hard with contents and backlinks, better keep a budget for ads so client can get some paid leads and the business keeps rolling...

SEO agencies are still viable, especially if you focus on specific niche or local businesses. Competition is higher now, but many businesses still need help with SEO. Starting small and building results seems to work better.
