SEO advice for accountancy practice

Hi All,

I am an accountant and getting paid to drive traffic (and hopeful leads/sales) to the website. I am in sole charge of this and the company isn't doing any SEO currently. I start this week

I would like to know where is the first place to start? Went to the library/bookstore and couldn't find any books on this. Hubspot has a free beginner guide which I intend to look at over the next few days.

Please give any advice for a complete newbie

All the big companies and brands (Ahrefs, HubSpot, Yoast and so on) offer basic SEO courses for free. You can also find full courses on YouTube.
