SEO advancement in 2013

not much really.

sape is the new focus with people who are using it getting skyrocketed into the top spots, now Matt Cutts is looking into it and people are starting to get scared it will go soon.

no new animals have been released

quality and diversity still rule

use only quality content, focus on niche relevant backlinks and high authority backlinks, get social signals, drip feed everything... That's about it

Hmm... An interesting topic. I'll try to make a thread regarding SEO in 2013 or future of SEO. Hope you will like it guys :D

Yes, i am making it. I'll post it as soon as its finished. I always had this in mind but to lazy to conceptualize it. Also, its my own perception and not in general and just to share my insight about it :D

I'd say just use QUALITY content for links pointing to your money site. Web 2.0's seem to be helping my site ALOT. Social bookmarks are also very great

@ DopeTM What is your anchor text ratio on your Web 2.0.'s?

its exactly the same if you approach it the right way.

Can't wait for all of SAPE users to get raped on the next update... ROFL ...This will be just like the public "private blog networks" Google's probably buying up links to fake test bed sites and building the blacklist and will take all of SAPE out in a single strike.

By all means use it while it lasts and bank hard, but come on, we all know it's a death wish coming. :yield:

I am seeing keywords ranking without much link building. A few good links are doing the job for me. :D

@ DopeTM What is your anchor text ratio on your Web 2.0.'s?
I usually use 2-3 anchor texts per web 2.0 article of about 500 words

I try to use my main keyword about 33% of the time, sometimes in every web 2.0 some not. I use generic keywords in every 2.0 such as "read more" "click here" etc and my secondary/other keywords maybe 10-20% of time

Same as always for me...

High PR Do's
Dilluted anchor text ratio
wiki, social 2.0s, PDFs, and bookmarks for noise and link diversity
blog comments link to those wiki, social, pdfs, and bookmarks.

EMDs still work, even with junk content.

A couple High PR links and lots of smaller diverse links on an EMD (brand new or not) work for me :)
