SEO is going more and more toward simply buying "influencer" links on as relevant as sources as your core linkbuildingt. Big boys pay to have articles in famous sites and blogs, and little guys fight over shitty niche blogs... but is the core of what is happening at the moment. It is very expensive and is a large part of why the low end crowd is saying SEO is dead... when the truth is SEO is expensive, not dead.

Web 2.0 plays an important role when it comes to SEO. The back link from best blog can improve the page rank and also increase the website traffic.
Web 2. Is also play an important role for earning money, branding website or business etc. Every day news are made which is all about of Web 2.0.

Same like in the 2013-2014-2015-2016... We call them "updates" because are improvements in the search algorithm, not radical changes. Don't listen to gurus who give you a different recipe every year.
You can rank shitty websites just with authority backlinks but it's harder (nearly impossible depending on the niche) to rank with best content quality but without authority backlinks. Do the math...

If you don't have sufficient funds to afford SEO, try to go viral. It's not easy at all, but if your contents are super-original (depending also on the niche you chose) and extremely interesting, informative, unique for readers, there is chance that others will do SEO for you: natural links to your contents, citations, social visibility.. the real success is when something go viral over the web, other-way is a hard fight.
