Just chuck lots of different types of link at the site. Don't focus too much on the specifics.

Zero results? You might want to consider using a backlink indexing service then, such as backlinksindexer or lindexed. I have been using the Senuke X trial with backlinksindexer and so far have gone from bottom of page 2 to bottom of page 1 in about 2 weeks or so.
Backlinks are very slow to index naturally at the moment, you will need an indexer service if you wanna see quick results. The templates it has are more than enough to see good movement.

Because that was so informative? No, 50 blog posts, one time, will do nothing to raise you in the serps. @ OP, you need to be consistent. You also need to be diverse with your links. Send all types of diverse links to your money site. Social Bookmarks, Wiki links, Article Directories, Press releases, web 2.0 profiles, and high PR low outbound Link Blogs. Hope this helps.

i would never point blog comments or forum profile links to my money site unless i wanted to get it banned.
As i understand its best to use senuke to create tiers.
so tier1 will be 5-30 decent web 2.0 props (like squidoo, ezine etc) pointing to your money site.
tier 2 would be a spun article pointing to the tier1
tier 3 would be blog comments/forum profiles pointing to tier2
So you end up creating hundreds of backlinks all pointing to each other.
Point to remember is that you will ONLY have 5-30 back links at the end to your money site!!!!

Which is exactly what I meant, I just didnt explain the concept of tiers. I figured tiers were a given.
your correct, tiers should be a given but you never know what level BHW members are at. Out of interest how many tier1 do you create at each se run?
I hate the fact that im creating hundreds of back links yet only 5-30 are pointing to my money site!!!! arrrrrrgh

Yeah I know what you mean. Well, I have several different mixtures of tiers. My tier one usually is made up of 30-40 web 2.0s. My tier 2 is usually 30-50 article direction submissions which are directed towards my tier one links. My tier 3 is a combination of press release's/social bookmarks that are directed towards my tier 2's. They're all backlinked heavily, and then I rinse and repeat.
Is this delivering decent results in serps for you?
the only thing i do differently is that i don't bookmark any tier2/3 but i do bookmark tier1. i find it becomes really expensive to bookmark everything.

Actually, yes. I mean naturally, I get dances like everyone else. But my methods are quite solid. Bookmarking Demon is $127 right now, you should take that plunge. It really become worth it.
