So I have this impossible to guess email which I used to register and get SENuke... its something like [email protected] and my password is 64bit strong entered with an autocomplete software to defeat key-loggers (just in case u say my email was the one compromised)

Anyhow the reason I am posting this is because of the recent email which I (and I assume most of u) received from SENuke regarding a "new ground breaking community" which turns out to be a spin-off of BHW. They are promoting that site offering access to a VPS which "allegedly" has "licensed" versions of SENuke, Scrapebox, BMD and soon Xrummer, etc for a $150 donation.

24 hours later SENuke sends an email saying that they were not the ones who sent that email and that loading the site in question represents a security threat. Since my email is almost impossible to compromise and/or find using name generators (or posted anywhere online) I take it that SENuke has had a security breach.... I hope sensitive info hasn't been compromised/stolen.

What do u guys think? Discuss...

This is the second time in less than a year. A business that can't even protect it's site/list properly!

And why do they need this security breach to act on this. Was the same thing previously, we will make sure it does not happen again, blah, blah, blah...

They never heard of preventive security?

You shouldn't have the same password for your program registration as your e-mail, anyway.

So even if your SENuke account is breached, they shouldn't be able to get to your e-mail account.

If it is the same, change it ASAP.
