True. I typed it in to the Google Wonderwheel and got all kinds of Anime results - video content other than that which will be provided at my main website. My KW Phrase had "English" in it so the majority of searches must have come from people wanting to watch Anime in English.

EDIT: I've found a phrase with 2300 exacts, 20k results for the quoted phrase and 16k for the allintitle.

The Wonder Wheel gives you suggestions that Google thinks is relevant to your KW.

If you want to get what people are actually searching, take a look at Google suggest when you type your phrase into Google's search bar and more importantly Google's Search-Based KW Tool.

It seems the Wonder Wheel was right for the most part: according to the KW tool, there are no longtails relevant to my site's content, only saturated broad matches. I've bought a domain for my new KW and am feeling a lot more confident about ranking for it.

Partly because I think I should stop high-jacking your thread with unrelated SEO questions and partly because of your avatar, I'm going to do some actual work! Thank you for your help everyone.

How did that turn out for you? Where are you in the SERPs with this site? And for Scrapebox, are you putting your backlink in the "Domain:" section or an actual link within the text of your comment?
I think pretty soon these "Domain:" backlinks will be worthless from what I've read about changes at Google.
 
I tried SENuke and it was good for what it does, although it does depend what you want to use it for.

For serious players who can afford it, it automates lots of tasks that are otherwise time consuming, and yes it did crash, but if you use it like a tool or "an employee" they aren't perfect either! IE and Ffox crash at times.. And it is cheaper than the salaries I know about!

For newbies and folk just starting, best to trial it first and see if you are ready for it or need it initially. In my opinion, if you have 1 site, then it may be a bit limiting for SB sites listed etc, unless you want to make multiple pages and accounts on those sites.

Whereas if you have quite a few sites, or articles and looking to give each of them a jumpstart, and can handle the cost because you will make more return next month from sales, then it may well be worth the investment. You need to evaluate your requirements as we are all different with differing needs.

Multiple accounts and proxies are a must if you want to get the best out of any tools that automate things.

anyway, very good info Yuki, just 1 thing that I am not sure about:

for example...a hub page, or an article from a site like articlesbase or something...do you still go "slow" or can you just nuke the crap out of them and they won't get penalized?

I can't remember where I read it, but it said that because of how big the actual article directory is you don't get penalized. I'm kinda at an intermediate level SEO wise and I still have this question that's been bugging me :D

There is no big Google "penalty". The worst that will happen is that your site maybe ignored. If you want to be very aggressive, you need to spread yourself out. Some sites will get locked/deleted from some of the directories, and some just won't cut it.

With that said, user-generated content sites get links do countless times every single hour, so it would be really hard for Google to prove that your backlinks are blatantly self-promoting.

Of course, you need to take the pre-cautionary steps to make your linking campaigns look natural.

I have tons of proxy accounts.

Cloakfish, Proxy Bonanza, ProxyGo's Service, Your Private Proxy, etc. to name a few.

Hi Yukinari, thanks once agian for an interesting thread. I'm just about to start building my first link wheel. I've spent ages with the best spinner and my article is about as unique as I can get it. The main problem I'm having is understanding the best linkwheel kind of template to use.

I was just going to go for a open ended standard type linkwheel structure, hoping that the content is unique enough to get it indexed, in hope for max-links into my site. And then I was going to surround that with another open ended wheel that links mainly to the first wheels properties.

The other link stuctures I've seen don't seem to have as many links into my site, so I haven't been as keen to try them but an curious to what you would say is the most successful method for increasing my se rank?

Oh, and I'm using senuke, and wondered if you would advise not using the proxies within senuke, based on your previous post?
 
recently i've read some posts on how article spinning is dead. so i'm wondering, is the whole article spinning and web2.0 submissions with senuke still the way to go in optimizing your site on google?

You hit it right on the nose. You have no idea how many MBAs and Masters Degree in Marketing people I have worked with that have no clue cause they are brainwashed from too many years of schooling.

This internet marketing industry is flooded by people doing the same techinques and following A->B->C->D mentality. Time to think out of the box and make that paper.

Where did you read that?

Article spinning is not dead as far as I'm concerned. I have never seen any problems with it.

Just like anything else in this business, you get out what you put in.
