SEnuke or Scrapebox first?

Senuke will offer you a nice link diversity , but not to many links and the software it's very buggy.
Sb is super !!! and you can use it for sooo many things. But all the backlinks are the same kind of backlinks.
I would choose SB over senuke anyday , but you need to learn how to use it properly , because a lot of ppl has sb but don't know how to use it.

You can shoot yourself in the head with any tool, even a free one for example, so I don't really agree with the comment about making your choice based on cost and noobishness.
That said, sbox is really affordable (aka ridonkously priced for the value it provides) and is kind of a no-brainer. Has a lot of great add-ons that you can use to learn, and a lot of user feedback about tips, tactics, and methods. Just don't go nuts with it at first, get to know it and think about how to apply it effectively - same as you should do with any tool. Oh and to get the most out of it be prepared to get some paid proxies or a paid proxy forum membership as well - upgraded proxies will improve your return on investment. That's optional but highly recommended.
I've offered advice on learning it before, if you take the plunge and buy it - which you should - ping me if you want and I'll reiterate that advice. It's pretty simple really, mostly involves reading, watching videos, and then determining your goals and how to use the app to achieve them.
