I'd say if you have at least of 1GB of RAM that'd be enough to run SENUKE all day - but you can make the process high priority in task manager to better improve performance.

If you watch the webinar that's in the members video section he mentions that he recommends at min. 4 gb of ram.
Just based on the age of your laptop I can say with certainty that you will need to upgrade.
I have 4gb of ram on my system (Asus G50vt-x5) and SEnuke uses about 1.5-2gb or ram when I have it running.

Yeah probably best to get a vps if you want to have it running 24/7.
Funny..... cos my VPS only got 1 gb RAM

I'm using a stationary computer with 1 gb memory and don't have any problems with senuke x. I don't have it running 24/7 but it's on for about 12-15 hours/day.
With that said, I would upgrade if I could. Are you planning on running more than 1 senuke x at the same time on a virtual server? If so you might want to get more ram.
I think you want to be looking at 3gb/setup of senuke x for maximum effort, but you can obviously do with less if you want to.

Dude just get a vps or dedicated server, you could install more tools there

Since SENukeX 2.0 came,it hasn't crashed a Single time for me!
I mainly use it for creating High PR Fourm Profiles which is not the real job of SENukeX.
I run it on 35$ plan of aliasserver whose configuration is -
Xeon 5620 1 Core
1GB RAM DDR3
So,just check if your laptop has above specifications.

But a VPS doesn't have all the "junk" that a normal laptop might have on it.
Examples:
Anti-virus
Random programs checking for updates i.e Google updater.
Dedicated Graphics card .exe running (just saw the .exe in my task manager)
Hell, it seems that I even use resources to monitor my battery (BatteryLife.exe) haha
Currently I have 87 processes running on my system.
A VPS is dedicated, most people I would assume use their laptop for many different things and so you have a lot more background tasks going on.
Public Proxies are only good for scraping, when it comes to fast posting, private proxies are a must. Around 10 should be enough. Their are many good proxy providers in the BHW Proxy section.
You're going to need a lot of proxies, then. Although, it depends on the 2.0 site. Some of them allow unlimited subdomains for a single email address (wordpress), but others only allow 1 per email address (tumblr). So, figure out which sites you want to post to, and then decide how many domains you can create per day, then decide how many proxies you need to invest in.

Yes, simply set up virtual server. You can have as many as 3 versions running simultaneously.
But with that said, I don't really know why you would unless you are running a major SEO company with 100 clients. 1 version seems to do the job for most people.

I'm pretty sure tumblr allows unlimited subdomains per email too.
