sensitive content

Yes, I noticed this a couple days ago.

Accounts that are NSFW have started displaying the sensitive content warning, even if the accounts are already (forcefully) marked as a NSFW account.

Twitter hasn't gone "woke" it has gone tyrannical and incompetent.

The good thing is for the moment the followers are still liking etc. Let's see how it goes in the next few days/weeks

Thanks to all who LOVE Elon Musk.

I guess this is due to people not marking them on their own and X decided to just mark every post from now, on its own.

This will probably have a heavy impact on reach of NSFW accounts from now on as many more will more likely to scroll past without interacting or anything.

very likely yes. But when stats collapse they might reverse it. Who knows...

Nah... Twitter would mark your account as being a NSFW and lock the option so you wouldn't change it, and then limit the visibility of your account to a larger audience.

This new change probably has more to do with Elon living in Texas, and the fact that Texas passed a law requiring all adult sites to verify that their users are over the age of 18 through ID verification.

PH pulled out of Texas after this law was passed.

Elon is trying to appease his conservative overlords/fanbase.

There's a strong political movement that's trying to ban adult content altogether in the US.
